Death Wobble

If you've experienced the death wobble driving down the freeway at 50-60 mph the. You dang near survived death. About a year or so ago I took my truck into the shop to get the wobble taken care of. They looked around and out in new ball joints and pitman/idler arms on which somewhat solved the problem. Just the other day I took it in and when I told them they had never heard of it. I have an 02 F150 SuperCrew FX4. It has a 2 inch leveling kit and 35 in BFGs. Has anyone else ran into this situation before? I’ve also been researching that it can involved the trackbar bushings. Any help would be greatly officiated.

That freaking wobble

Taking it to a mechanic who is familiar with the wobble. Hopefully it’s just the trackbar bushings. Question, while he under there should I have him fix anything that could possibly make my tire bald in the future. Thank you. Hope you have a great week.

FordOwner - I combined these two threads since the second post didn't make much sense without the first. We don't like multiple threads on the same topic because they lead to confusing or incomplete responses that can waste your time or cost you money. Hope the mechanic helps you out.

If your tire(s) is/are wearing unevenly, you should certainly have the alignment checked.
