struts

i recently did all 4 struts on my 2011 f150 ecoboost 4x4. i went with kyb excel g struts. i feel almost every bump in the road now worse than my old rusty stock ones. i use this truck for city driving and pulling a small boat nothing fancy just wanted a smooth ride do i need these to break in? or should i go with a different brand?

i did do alot of research on struts before i chose these. I wanted the closest to oem i could get one thing i loved about this truck was how smooth it rode as opposed to my previous vehicle 2006 nissan armada so i wanted to keep the quality or increase it. I read alot of guys went with the bilstein 5100 series but mentioned a firm ride. Green Bay Wisconsin has very crappy roads pot holes, cracks, and i now feel every one even small ones. Im not sure what to do whats the best option for me ?

Put a new set of OEM struts in it. Call Tasca with your VIN to get the right parts. They are as cheap as anyone for OEM Ford parts.

glc is right, Tasca has the cheapest OEM parts.

In terms of ride, I like firm and as rough as can be. I want to hit a pothole and lose some teeth over it.
