help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 97 f150 4.2l v6 with 4x4. I just finished replaceing tie rods. counted threds as i removed and replaced one at a time. when i finished i went for an alignment and noticed my tires were flopping over on turn and have a severe tilt to them. am going to try to adjust them myself but just in case are they backwards i put them onthe way they came off but i see pics with the loose boot being the inner on some. is that my problem?

The caster causes the tires to lay down when turning. It has to have caster for the steering to track straight and it gives you the help in returning the wheels back straight after turning. May not be a problem at all. Did you touch the upper A arms?

no didnt touch anything else besides tie rods thats what has me so confused. am trying to adjust them but that doesnt change the tilt.

tie rod ends only affect the toe-in. The upper and lower control arms control caster and camber. I don't think you can adjust either without replacing the upper control arms with the adjustable type. Take it to an alignment shop and get it aligned. It's probably okay. I'm assuming your truck's front end is the same as my 02.

Take it to an alignment shop.
