2" Bilstein 5100

Does anyone have theirs set at the 2 inch mark? Remarks on how stiff the ride is, if stiff at all? I have a 2010 KR SCrew 4x4...looking to go that route but would like some feedback vs an autospring or something.

It's going to stiffen anytime you alter the front end geometry. On my 08, there was a very noticibly difference when I raised the truck up 2" in the front. Hence why I went back to stock height. Obviously a 2010 is slightly different, but I think it really depends on what matters to you more: looks vs ride quality.

Also, check the date in your sig.

What's wrong with my sig?? Haha and yeah I suppose so. I remember how my older 2wd was when I lifted the front up and it rode stiffer for sure. Although I clearly have a better vehicle for it with the 2010 KR and it being 4wd.

Your sig says "stock as of 2/29/19." Few years off haha.

The 2009+ trucks ride very nicely. You'd definitely sacrifice that a little. However, if you need more clearance or want larger tires, sometimes that's the only option if you don't want to spend a fortune.

While it'll be noticeable, I bet you'd be able to live with it just fine.

I have the bilstiens in all 4 corners on my 07. I really like them. Yes it stiffens up the ride, but the recovery and recoil off road is alot quicker than stock.

I did all 4 with the 5100's a few months back. Replaced stock shocks with 110k miles on them.

I set the front to a 1" lift. Anyway, like state the truck is stiffer but I wouldn't say harsh, rides more like a "truck" and like it much better. Normal road use, it's SMOOTH. If your hitting bumps I noticed it was more firm and really rebounded quickly, and like that better. Stock the shocks were like a Cadillac compared to that, like a boat... Good if your 80.

Gotcha, well we will see what happens. Leaning towards doing all 4, but don't know if I need to at 80.

Alot of people suggest changing around 75k or so if not 50k
