Need help

Hey guys I have a 2006 xlt 4.6L 2wd extended cab. I wanna lift it but everyone tells me I should because it's a 2wd. So what else could I do? Should I add spacer so it is a little wider and a leveling kit? What is the biggest size tires can I get without rubbing.

Should I not lift it and just get bigger tires and shouldn't that bring it up a little?
And if I lift it how much should I
Lift it?

33 x 12.5 for sure but sometimes you can get away with 35's but the rim you choose and back spacing have a lot to do with that and occasionally some very minor trimming on the bottom of the plastic wheel well

Lift it if you want too. It's your truck.

If you want a 6" lift and only go with a leveling kit, you'll most likely be unhappy and still want to go bigger.

If you go with a level, a 33x12.50 or around it's metric equivalent will work depending on tire tread aggressiveness and wheel width. If you go bigger, say a 6" lift, then you'll be able to do 35x12.50's and most likely be able to clear a more aggressive wheel width and offset without rubbing.
