One leaf spring is lower

I'm not sure how it happened but one of my leaf springs is sagging so the passenger side of my truck sits noticeably lower that the other side. I put the 6" Rough country lift (with blocks) on 1-1/2 years ago.

Question is, I just want to replace it with a factory spring. If i do this will it sit even with the other side or is it best to replace both springs? Getting alot of people telling me my truck has a serious lean going on while driving behind me

Oor is it best to just go ahead and get 6" springs and get rid of the giant douche blocks?

It all depends on your budget

I guess the main question is if a new factory spring(1) will sit higher than the driver side spring which is still fine.

The new spring will most likely make the passenger sit higher than the driver side depending upon how saggy the driver side leaf spring is. In reality both springs are sagging compared to when they came out of the factory but by how much is the question. Another thing to think about is what it will do with a lot of weight in the bed, could be that with the new driver side spring it will sit even with no weight in the bed but if you tow something or put some firewood back there the driver side may then start to sag much worse than the passenger side (because of the new spring).

If you would like to get rid of the blocks I would go with a 4" lift leaf spring as it would keep the level appearance and you would be able to use the same shock absorbers. RC lift kit is 6" in the front but 4" in the back

I'd get new 6" Skyjacker replacement springs. $570 shipped from 4wheelparts. If you got 4" springs, you need your factory 1 5/8" blocks too.

go price your factory spring - then try the local spring shop and price rearcing or replaceing both

I think you'll find the spring shop will be the better choise

bump.

so i replaced my factory leaf springs/douche block with 6" National leaf packs and the lean is still the exact same. Only thing i can think of is the shackles? could a worn out shackle bushing cause sag? This is pretty irritating. passenger side measures 1.5" lower than drivers side.

leaf bushing and/or shackle bushing can cause that.
twisted frame too.

have you look the front right coil spring(broken)? the whole truck seem to lean to the front right.

That's exactly right, time to start looking things over very closely. It's entirely possible that an issue in the front is throwing off the whole truck.

well turns out this was the culprit. I looked over the front end months back but not as closely as i should have. I just assumed the problem was in the rear. Turns out i indeed have a broken coil spring. I've been driving for at least 6 months with a broken coil spring... no crazy vibrations or rattles either Ordered new coils(2) from Rock Auto, gonna have to wait until next weekend to put them on
