Suspension gremlins?

I had my truck lowered back in December which included front lowering struts from Belltech and lowering leafs on top of the lowering shackles. Ever since I've had it done, the front driver side wheel/suspension will make some gnarly grinding or rubbing sounds on hard right turns or if there is a bump on those right hand turns that cause the suspension on the drivers side to flex.

Anyone have any ideas? I haven't taken it back to the shop yet, but probably will.

Thanks for any input ahead of time guys.

Had the same issue initially. Lower strut bolt wasn't torqued tight enough causing the metal face of the bushing to chew into the lower control arm. Other possibility is the lower strut bushing self-destructed if it wasn't torqued with the truck sitting on the ground. Could also be balljoints, but since your issue coincided with installing new struts, I doubt it. But it's worth mentioning.

Torque spec for that lower bolt is about 350 lb-ft. for the 04-08 if I recall correctly. So just know that it needs to be tightened extremely hard.

Yup 351 to be exact. I impacted it on my truck when I had to take the struts out.

That sounds like it might be. I'll have to get an appointment for the shop that installed it to check it out.

Thanks for the input guys!

Good to see a post from you man. I agree with the re-torque of the lower strut bolt. Also, check out the tie rod ends.
