Lowering Parts

Hey guys, haven't posted on here in awhile but recently got myself an 09 f150 Standard cab, v8, 2wd automatic. Pretty stoked about it! Planning on lowering the truck 4 in. up front and 6 in. in the back. Using shackles and hangers, lowering springs, flip kit and spindles. Have the parts saved however, when looking for spindles only found some for an 08, was just curious to know if the spindles have changed? and also to get advice from those guys that have dropped their trucks as well. This is my first truck so i'm going all out! thanks guys!

Yes they are not the same. but you can switch to 04-08 style, but need to have everything 04-08 to dress it up.

4 in front will rub on top of inner fender( plan to cut and reposition them 1" higher at least)
6 in back: need to notch the frame or you'll be riding on it pretty much all the time.

3/5 are the "regular" kit....lower then that and you need to start cutting stuff.
Front: belltech Strut and or DJM Lower control arm (Spindle are great but lowering spring sucks!)
rear: flip kit (way easier then changing/cutting hanger.)

The guy above gave you the right info! You gotta mix and match brands to achieve that truck. Most common people will stick with 3/5 so you can avoid the notch.
