OP, are you 4x4 or 2wd? Nevermind, I see AWD. Start by removing block, and putting 2wd struts on. Should get you around a 2/2 drop.

It's 68 bucks total! That hole is standard procedure. Your factory bolts sit in there just by themselves. This isn't much different, I'd say even safer. I'm happy

 

I have a 3/5 DJM drop on my 07 fx2 Scab with slam air helper bag.
I tow my 7000lbs toy hauler and it tow great.
can put 1500lbs of payload whitout having it sag or it the frame on every bump (helper bag are the key.

My complete kit will be for sale this winter only 2 year with less then 20K km.(i'm in montreal, qc)

The factory holes are slotted and whet holds the adjustment is simply friction after the bolt is torqued.

The kit locates in the holes, lets the mechanic adjust by turning the nut, and then lock by torqueing it .... so you have the friction as before .... plus that pin which has at least some couple thousand pounds shear strength.
