I have a 2001 F150 4x4 with a 3" body lift and I recently installed a 5" Rough Country lift. Every time I hit a bump the front end starts shimmying so bad I have to come to a complete stop just to get it to quit. I have went back and checked all the bolts to make sure they were tight and everything was tight. Any Ideas about what could be causing this?

 

Did you get an alignment?

 

Yes. Once after the lift and then it was still shimmying so I replaced the bad ball joints and had it aligned again, and it still didn't fix it.

 

Tire condition?
Are the sway bar end links broken?
Tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm all good?
