Bilstein 5100 on stock height 99?

Been looking thru a bunch of threads and I am getting conflicting info. Can you or can't you run the 5100s on a stock height 97-03 body? Been looking to replace my tired stock shocks. Trying to decide between the HD and the 5100s.

You cannot! That shock (5100's for stoc height) does not exist. But here's the thing...the 5100 and the HD are exactly the same minus the color and the fact ones for no lift. The valving, fluid, internal specs; all identical.

What he said^. Go with the hd shocks if you aren't lifted.
