Cranking Out Coil overs

I'm getting a lift and strongly considering a 6" fabtech kit with coilovers. I'm thinking about cranking them out an 1" to 1.5". Considering they can be cranked out 2" to 2.25". What are y'all's thoughts on this. Yes or no? And what could be an effect of doing this.

Go for it if you want more lift. Might as well do it all at once so you only have to get one alignment. If your gonna do it might as well go all the way to 2" though and get all the lift you can.

Effects of doing it? You'll put your tie rod ends and ball joints at the same angle if you have a leveling kit the of the same size. So you'll increase the wear somewhat. And you'll need to add more lift to the back (hopefully not just a huge block).

i did it to mine, stacked a spacer on top and put on 38's. i couldn't ever get a perfect alignment but 5 years later everything is fine. i am actually lowering it soon and getting 35's. the bigger tires aren't worth the terrible gas mileage and lack of power. obviously its your truck but figured i would let you know what i am going through with it.

my angles were not ideal but surprisingly they were about as bad with others with just a 2.5" leveling kit. never had any problems. good luck
