2.5" 2much?

Just this last week I order my AS leveling kit. Of course after it shipped I read here that for my 07 2" would be better to level. In my search I believe I read that a 2.5" kit would settle a little bit after it was on for a while. Is this true? If 2.5" 2much will it eventually settle and drop down a tid bit? Greatly appreciate any help. So glad to be finally going on making my truck my own

I ran the 2.5" AS for a while with no issues. I did not notice it settle but it may have. You should be fine with the 2.5". Soon it will not be enough and you will want a suspension lift. lol

It's not gonna settle, it's a metal spacer so it really has no way to compress and settle. With it you may end up a little nose high, how noticeable it will be I can't say.

Ah I see. thanks for the help. I read up on the blocks. for install it involves dropping the axle, the gas tank one side and the exhaust on the other if I remember correctly. which brand of block did you use to level out the level kit :0 I haven't seen a brand mentioned to be good usually. ill take a pic tomorrow of my truck before the kit. my kit was supposed to get here today but its a no show. I intend on utilizing this forum for my mod because I have never messed with my suspension before. i've only been doing crazy research for the past few weeks since I decided to actually customize my truck. I prob sound much like a noob but I need to start somewhere, im an apprentice already for work so im not to proud to ask for help

Correction. a 3" block requires to unbolt the stock u bolts and remove. Jack truck up from axle , remove 2" block and install 3" block by aligning the 2 pins. To align the pins you may want to put bricks or 2"x wood to stop wheel from moving. Once pins are aligned install new u bolts and done. Do other side.

gas tank removal is required for a new leaf install

Agreed. Both blocks can be changed out in 30 minutes at home.

EDIT:: I just realized I said jack truck up from axle, it's really jack truck up by frame so leafs are not strapped to axle, thus allowing the swap of block. If you have hand tools, I'd say more like an hour for a first-timer
