Question 2" Body Lift on 2WD

I have a 98 2WD F150 with 4.6L engine and want to add a 2" body lift for bigger tires...probably 265s. But first, I wanted to hear from someone who has already done this. Did you notice added noise from the engine with the body raised from the frame? Did the lift stiffen the steering when turning the steering wheel or was the steering column extension long enough that there was no noticable change when turning? Was there any loss of power? Does the lift show much of the frame? Thanks for your help.

I did the 2" PA Body lift on my 4X4. I did not notice any more engine noise. The steering feels exactly the same, and I did not have any power loss. I have side bars so you can't see the frame, but even without them I think it still looks good. Get some lift lips to get rid of the resulting gaps in the fender wells. I say go for it.

265"s will fit fine without a lift, just put them on mine.
