2" drop...alignment kit questions

I ordered and just received a 2" drop kit from Bell Tech for my 2000 Expedition. The package should have included a "alignment kit" but when the package was delivered this part was missing. I have a appointment to have this lowering job performed this Friday and was a little frantic with the missing parts.

I contacted Bell Tech and they informed me that the alignment kit was on back order. I then contacted the dealer in which I ordered the parts from and they were out of stock as well. The dealer did inform me that the parts were available from my Ford dealer and supplied me with the part numbers. These are the Ford part numbers I was told I would need (and quanity):

F65Z3C178AA (4 EACH) CAM-FRT.....LOOKS LIKE A WASHER
F65Z3B236BB (4 EACH) CAM & BL ....LOOKS LIKE A WASHER AND BOLT

My question is......is this the right part(s) to show up with to correct for wheel misalignment caused by the 2" drop?

Due to my location, there are not any real custom suspension shops in my area. I have located a shop that will install my Bell Tech kit but have not performed a drop on a Expedition. I want to ensure I show up with the right parts on Friday. I feel sure they can replace the springs and shocks but want to ensure I provide the correct parts to get the alignment right.

Anyone with knowledge of this subject or links to any pics, reviews etc. would be appreciated.

Regards,

John

John,

Those parts you describe are what they need to align your vehicle. When installed, the "cam" bolts will extend or retract your upper control arm to adjust camber and caster. You should be all set once you get those parts. Good Luck.

Thanks for the help guys. I also confirmed from the shop that is to perfom the work that the parts I referred to were correct. I was a little unnearved when the kit with missing alightment kit arrived since the local suspension shop was closed. They informed me that this was nothing new to them and that all should go OK.

Again, thanks for the help. I just did not want this 2-4 hour job to turn in a 2-3 day job waiting for parts.

John
