Stacking add a leafs?

Im in need of some more inches in the back and im trying to get 4 more inches. I was wondering if i can make my own leaf pack by adding 2 - 2'' add a leafs to my stock leaf springs? to get the 4''. I have a 5'' lift block 2'' lift shackles as of now and do not want to go bigger block nor can i afford a 5 or 6'' leaf pack.

If i can stack the leafs i know my ride will be stiff but that is fine with me. Any thoughts, opinions, help, maybe anyone has done this before?

The only way I can think of it even remotely working would be if you did it with a long aal and a short aal. But even then I'm not sure if it'll work.

You know what dude; I know you say you don't care, but you should. Don't red-neck your truck like that. For one thing, stacking leafs like that is certainly a bad design idea and I'd even venture to say its potentially unsafe regardless of the ride. Stacking add-a-leafs on the mess you already have just doesn't sound good at all. Save your money and do it right! You'll be much happier and most likely a lot more prouder of your efforts in the long run.

As previously stated, dont stack. id wait for the money to show for leaf packs, and put it to good use.

They call em bastard packs in the offroad world. Nothing wrong with adding leafs to a pack. 2 AAL will ride like hell though. Very stiff. Offroaders are mixing leafs to find a nice balance between height and flex.

mixed leafs are different than stacking add-a-leafs...

we done gave you a break, now we're telling you not stack AAL's for safety reasons (not yours, the safety of others around you)...

How? JW? I'm not standing for toolbag.

You can stack AAL its just going to ride like a brick. And probably wreak his main leaf after awhile.
