Control Arm and Ball Joint Brand?

I'm about to order a new upper control arm and ball joint for replacement on my '01 F-150 RWD 4.2L V6. I'm looking on Rock Auto and wondering if the cheaper parts (Dorman, Raybestos, ACDelco) are just as good as the MC parts? The Motorocraft control arms don't say specifically that they come with Ball Joints like some of the other brands do. They just say they "include bushings." If I order the Motorcraft control arm will it include ball joints or should I just order the Raybestos "Complete Arm with Ball Joint" for $30 less?

I believe, ALL the upper control arms come with the ball joint, including Motorcraft. Many members replace the UCA with the MOOG unit as it has the grease fitting in the joint, as does many other brands. I have seen where the Raybestos is a good quality unit also. Hope that helps

Moog or MC...

I would avoid raybesto products like the plague.....quality varies, I have personally seen catestrophic brake component failures (new) and the company, production & safety staff just don't care nor would they support the customers

MOOG. All I use on my truck. Grease fittings FTW.
