question about long travel suspension

I understand there's a lot of companies out there. Some use ball joints, others use pillow ***** or uni *****, and others use heim joints. What's the best one? Which one will allow the most droop? My 02 f150 has a fabtech lift right now that I'm going to re-do the joints on because the ball joints keep going out every 6 months. So instead of keeping the ball joint setup, I'm cutting it off and welding in my own setup. But before I go cutting anything off I want to know what I should go with? Eventually I will be replacing the entire suspension with one my brother and I are designing... But being new to desert racing and truck building, period, I want to ask as many questions as possible. Any and all help is more than welcome and appreciated

I'd do uniballs, pretty much never need to be replaced justly need some servicing. But if your trying to design your own setup I'd start reading over on dezertrangers.com.

Try that. Heims and uniballs are basically the same thing.
