33s, 20x12s what lift?

Hey guys recently bought an 07 f150 4x4 super crew. Needed tires when I picked it up so I just got a set of federal courgaria mts yesterday. They are 33x12.5r20. I'm planning on going with the new moto metals 20x12s in chrome. I'm kinda going for the Cali look with everything painted to match and more lift smaller tire. My question is if I decide to go a different route can I run these rims and tires with say a 4 inch lift? Or would 6 be ideal since the tires may rub. I don't want any rub at all I'm looking for the clearance. Thought opinions are all welcome. Thanks!-

I think 6" would probably be ideal so you have no rubbing.

I think you need a rainbow painted lift because that's going to be flaming

I run 35x12.5x20's on mine with a 4" lift with no rubbing. FWIW.

4" lift with 35's next to stock F150:

He's planning to run wheels that are probably ~4" wider than what yours are and have way less backspacing which is gonna cause the rubbing.

True, they'll be 3" wider and he never indicated offset. That is why I provided it simply as a reference point.

Since you want to run a 12 inch wide wheel and indicated you want the Cali look, I'd suggest going with a 6 inch lift.

Strokers truck is what I'm going for. I wish fuel didnt raise their prices on wheels. I'm torn between black and chrome for a wheel. I like the fake headlock look that wheel company's put on black wheels. Not sure why they don't do it as much on the chrome wheels. My truck is that pearl white kinda color. Lariat with tan interior so I think chrome is a better choice.

Blue I know what you mean. My expedition had the same problem with bearings going bad. I'm not giving anyone crap about lifting a 2wd but the 97-03 was def not meant for that and I don't think I would ever lift another one from my experiences. Not meaning to get off track, but does anyone have experience with the federal courgaria? I loved the tread pattern and couldn't pass up the deal. They're 1200 new and I got mine for 500 and I think they maybe have 1k on them so they're basically brand new.

I totally hear you on that! Thank God she's not my DD cause id be wrenching on her all the time just cause of the strain the offset of the wheels cause. Deff realizing it was not meant to be lifted this but im still gonna do 3" body coil spacers and add a leaf come spring then throw 37's under her. I know a couple of guys who are running those federal courgaria and have been having great luck just a little noisy.

I sold my expedition because I was tired of wrenching. If you get a different offset wheel you can run 37s with the 7.5 and 3 inch body. That's what I ran in mine when I took the spacer out
