Lift help

Hey all I'm looking to get a lift for my 08 f150 scab 4x4. I have a 3in auto spring with a 1.5 rear with 20in Mazzi hulk wheels and 305 33s.. What I want is a good lift for light off roading and good ride.. I'd like at least a 6 inch but would prefer an 8 inch.. I'd like to run a 35inch tire 12 inches wide and stay below 2300 with coil overs and steering staibilizers.. Thanks for all the help

light offroading but you want coilovers? a basic 6 inch will do the job for light offroading. coilovers will stiffen the ride, i don't know if you consider stiffer a "good ride". Steering stabilizers add uneeded stress to tierods from what i've heard

i wouldn't recommend stacking blocks, either use the 5" block or get some lift springs

your not getting a 6 or 8" lift installed for $2300 with coil overs and steering stabilizers.

You also don't need steering stabilizers unless there is something wrong up front. Like dylan said, steering stabilizers add un needed stress and will actually break the tie rod.

Dont need steering stabs, but you already established that. If you check the classifieds religioiusly i bought a stage II Procomp brand new off here for 1500 to my door. with adjustable coilovers so i could have went 8 inches. It was a nice kit and rode really well. My usage was like what you are going to do with your truck. Lift was on my 2010. Install on these trucks is normally around 800 give or take.....Money wise, id do a 6 inch with spacers and for the rear 5" block with AAL to get you to your height. If you find a good deal with adjustable coils then jump on that for sure! they make the ride IMO. I put my own kit on. its a little intimidating, but if you are at all mechancially inclined its doable.
