Good enough reaspm Mkimbro, Im getting ready to do ring and pinion swap because 35's do make performance suffer pretty bad, but its driveable, Ive been running the 35's with the 3.55's for about two months now.
Linedog, Ill make sure to take plenty of pics for ya and maybe even makeup a fancy little website like yours!

I don't think (at least hope) that no one is bashing. I have niether kit installed on my truck, I have just relayed what has been posted on this site. I wasn't acqusing linedog or anyone else of calling either kit crap, I have read post were people did not like the fact that it was designed with spacers instead of new knuckles, and for that they sounded as if they feel the kit (Trailmaster) is inferior. Like the RCD kit I feel as though having kick back rods (stiffeners) would greatly strengthen any kit (something TM is lacking (stiffeners)). All is good, if you have a problem tell us first hand that way we all know the truth.

Also, Linedog, where did you get your cell phone holder?

Cool 33's huh??? -MKIMBRO

Mkimbro,
Not to be a smart *** but if your only going with 33's and you concerned with the cost then why don't you just go with the 3" body lift and save like $1200!!! Just a question.

SIZMTRZ,

I am not concerned w/costs at all. I like to get the best deal I can just like everyone else.

The real reason for the supension lift is I like the looks. However, I don't care for the look of the body lift for one reason, the frame rails stick out of the holes under the bumber. I know that is kind of nit picking but that is the reason.

Thanks, Mike

linedog How does it mount to your dash? Does it clip on the a/c vent? Or is it stuck in place with adhesive or screws?

with an adhesive or screws,I tried the adhesive but it did not hold all that well so I had to use some small screws.I know you just cringed, so did I when I did it. But if I need to replace the besiel later on it is only about $20.

Good choice Mike. I love my Rancho.

SDiesel,

I still can't see how you are gonna fit 38's, when 36's with 7"s of lift, rub pretty good.

38/12.50's perhaps, but still....

I agree with mudder i dont believe 38's will fit with 7 in of lift the guys at Mountianeer 4x4 Unlimited told me that i couldnt clear 38.5's with a 5.5 Superlift and a 3 in body he said it would rub practically everything underneath mine and cause major damage in the long run and he suggested 36x12.5x16 swamper tsl's
It may work but i would make sure before i sunk a big chuck of money in tires and wheels then they ant be used

Talking 38" WILL WORK!!!!!

Sup Boys!!! OK, 38's will work. my old 97' had a 5" superlift and 3" body and they worked just dandy. All I had to trim was a little plastic off the front valance. I added 4" bump stops just to be safe cause they will tear the poop out of your fenders if you do any seroius Roadin! Mkimbro, good luck with your lift!! I feel you about the frame rails, my thing was seeing the frame from the side. But the new ford factory nerf/step bars solve that problem. They drop like 5-6 inches below the body. perfect for hiding the frame!!! That and some lift lips and I'm all set!! My new baby is identical to my old one but no lift yet, not till next summer at least!!!

Yeah, but still don't think 7 is enough for 38's. Just look around, I'm in Texas for crying aloud, I see so many lifted trucks daily to know.

Post

Like Ive said in previous posts, there are 2 TWO people near me who have the SAME exact setup who have ran 38x14.50's. So you're going to make me find the guy's truck this weekend and take a pic of it for crying out loud?

I just would think that with a 7" lift, 36's would be plenty. You know that with 38's plus, a daily driver isn't so much fun to drive on the roads anymore. Atleast, not with me anyway, I drive like a SOB.
