2wd Lift and Locker
Hey, Im new to the forum so sorry if there was already a thread about this. I have an '06 f150 xl supercab 4x2, and I know a lot of people think its pointless to lift a 2wd truck, but I can get around just fine on the logging roads with 2wd.
Would you go with a 6" fabtech or 6" fts lift? Would there be any point to putting double shocks in the front? Should I get a 2.5" leveling kit on top of that? Also, how would the handling on the road be if I locked up the rear? I haven't added anything new to the truck and want to start by making it a little more off road capable.

Got the fabtech installed on mine. Only seen pictures so far because I'm out of the country for a while. Mom says it looks badass in person though lol. I too have thought about getting a locker for my 2wd. I plan on going to 4.56 gear in the rear anyway, might as well get a locker installed as well.

Thanks for all the input guys. I'll eventually go with a fabtech within the next year or so. Steering stabilizers when I don't have sas? Also, one of my buddies offered to weld the rear for me so I wouldn't need a locker good or bad idea? Kind of stuck on if I should go for it or not.
