6 inch fabtech

I'm getting a 6 inch fabtech with dirt logics on a 2005 xl f 150 4x4 and was wondering if i can fit 37x13.50R18LT nitto mud graplers with 18 inch wheels with 0 offset and -4.5 inch backspacing? I'll also have camburg upper control arms and bushwacker pocket style fender flares on it. Can i put a 2 inch leveling kit on top of the coilovers and maybe an add a leaf in the back for clearance? Do you think i will have much rubbing? Will i have to make my driveshafts any longer with the lift and an add a leaf and a 2 inch leveling kit up front? I might also get an aftermarket front bumper. Thanks All.

From what I've seen on here, you will have to add the 2" level to clear those. Especially with that offset on those wheels.

There is a member on F150forum that has a 6" Fabtech with 37x13.5x20 Toyo M/Ts with 20" XD Addicts that have a +15 offset and he has no problems. That is a backspacing of around 5.5". I dont think you will be able to pull it off with a 4.5". Either go with a higher offset wheel or add the 2" spacer/crank the coilovers. Oh yeah, his name is MoDY150.

For your other questions, you will not need to lengthen your driveshafts. I have an 8" BDS on my 06FX4 and have the stock shafts. Also, you will probably want to do the AAL as your rear end will be dragging with the 8" upfront and 3-4" in the back.

gonna be a tough fit partner. 6 inch lifts rub with 35 sometimes with certain wheel combos. Driving down the highway pounding pavement. possible with trimming. You will want to stick with 5.5" of backspacing. I didnt see the width lf the wheels either. 9 inches and that backspacing will be your closest way to fit with the least amount of trimming. even then you would be better to add a level on top and AAL in the rear to be functional. Also you are going to want to regear if you are going to 37s or your truck with be angry with you.

IIRC Camburg UCAs need 4.5" of backspacing so you will probably need the level to make it work

Just crank the coilovers up all the way and prepare to do some trimming, don't add the leveling kit. Add the AAL if you want it to sit more level. Search member "Josiah" he had that exact setup.

Yep I agree and on the UCAs it shouldn't matter since he will be lifted

Well am i right in thinking that dirt logic coilovers left at 6 inches with a 2 inch spacer on top of that will give me a better ride than just cranking the coilovers all the way up? Fabtech calls for 5 inches of backspacing with thier kit but i didn't know that camburgs uca's call for 4.5 backspacing. The wheels are 18x9 0 offset and -12 backspacing and was hoping to put37x13.5 tires on it. So, with a little trimming, will it work? I'm gonna go with 4.56 gears maybe a month or so after i get this done. I just don't have the money all at once so the gears will have to wait a month or two. I do have a edge cts programmer so i can get my speedo right.

Just crank up the Dirt Logics, and with the UCA you will be fine since you will be lifted and the control arm will be at a higher position than if you were stock.
