2WD Level/Lift/Body Lift

A buddy of mine has a 2011 2WD XLT Ecoboost and is throwing around the idea of doing a level/lift with some bigger tires. I was searching around Google to see if anyone had a spindle lift for the 2WD trucks because I remember when I first got my Titan a lot of guys were doing 4" spindle lifts on their 2WD trucks for half the price of a 6" bracket lift. But I looked and I didn't see any spindle lifts available for this generation F-150. Do they make them?

If not, what's his best bet and cheapest way to clear 35s? Bilstein 5100s adjusted to level the truck with a 3" body lift? Or some other option?

Also, does anyone have a body lift with a leveled truck? I'd like to get pictures so we can see what it looks like and how much frame hangs down.

Thanks y'all.

Spindles are 97-03 2wd only.

What's the plan for wheels? Stock or aftermarket? That'll play a part in how much lift will be needed for 35's.

Aftermarket 20s I'd assume...probably with Terra Grapplers since he does a lot of highway driving.

Width of the wheel and backspacing are what matters.

Not a very aggressive offset on the wheels. Maybe they'll stick out a little bit more than stock.

One thing needs to be considered in reference to a body lift. The truck is an Ecoboost. Will the body lift cause a problem with the intercooler? I know body lifts will cause a lot of additional work on the intercooler plumbing on turbodiesel trucks. I'd check Performance Accessories website and see if they mention any restrictions/problems with the Ecoboost trucks. It may wind up be easier to go with a 6 inch Pro Comp Suspension lift (if you shop wisely).
