How much of a lift do I NEED?

Wasn't sure if this belongs of wheels or suspension forum so I'm just posting it here.

I'm trying to get 20x10 wheels installed. Not too concerned about tire size yet.

The store said 10" wide won't fit on stock 4x4 F150 super crew.

How much lift will I need to fit the 10" wide wheels?

Appreciate feedback.

offset and tire size is everything. if you put rubber bands on 10 inch wide wheels with no lift youll fit. there are a million guys on here running 33x12.5x20 tires on a 20x10 rims with 0 offset and only a 2.5 or 2 inch level. but like i said its all about the offset and tire size, so before we talk lift, think about what wheels you want to run and look at available offsets, then think about tire brands and find a size youd like to run. all in all a 2.5 level will most likely work though

Depends on tire size and backspacing of wheels. Figure that out and then re-ask your question.

Hey again,

Appreciate the feedback 06yz250f and jdeacon.

I don't care if its lift, level or whatever, but body lifts just seem kinda lame to me. I really want 10" wide for traction in the snow. With the wheels I want, monster xd, the smallest diameter that comes in 10" wide are the 20" diameter. I want some rubber on there too. Ideally I would want 18x10 or 17x10 and no lift or level but that seems out of the question. Appreciate any feedback, suggestions, links, ext.

Again those wheels are possible, it all depends on tire size and offset/backspacing of the wheels. With just the wheel width we can't really help.
