Should I do it or not?????

I have a 2005 Crew Cab Lariat with 95000 on it I bought used about 3-4 months ago. Is that to many miles to to put a 4 or 6 inch lift kit on it? Or should I just do a level and AAL with stock size tires? I know these trucks last for like 200K to 300K and mine is mint. I know it will last me another 10 years easy. What do yall think?

If you plan to keep it for a long time I say go for it

I was also wondering what others thought about this. I just picked mine up this month with 75k.. I wasn't sure if that was too many miles to lift it up. Glad to see someone else is curious too lol.. hope some one who has a better idea can chime in.

I would lift it. Your going to replace the front and rear shocks soon any way.

Honestly, lifting it will probably be better. Especially if you're replacing or upgrading everything in the suspension.

Really asking this??? Make it what you want unless your just gonna flip it for something else. Guys put lifts and $$$ into far older trucks all the time. Its your truck, your money, your life...do what you want. ...did I get to political for this place with that. lol

Thanks guys, I just didn't know if people were putting lifts on trucks with those kind of miles on them or doing them new. I am in the process of talking with a member hoping to get some rims and tires. If I get them I will start with the 2.5 inch level and AAL for 180 and then save for a PRO COMP Lift. If I don't get them I will buy used tires and wait to buy new one when I can lift it and then I will paint my stock rims. Hope something works out soon lol

DO IT! I lifted my old 05 with 80,000 something miles and my 09 with 70,000 miles. 09 now has 110,000 miles and is doing fine, and it while you have it apart it would be a good time to replace ball joints and what not

So I decided to save some money and do the level. Im am still not sure about what kit. Iam going to paint my stock rims and look into the 5100 series Blistein adjustable shocks and the Auto spring 2.5 spacer and AAL and put on 35" tires.
