37x12.50

I am new to the site and was wondering if anyone was running 37x12.50 on the 04-08 f150.I currently have a 2 1/2 rc leveling kit and 35x12.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers on stock wheels.I am about to order the RC 6 lift and was wondering if the 37x12.50s will fit.I dont see why they wouldnt I already have 35s with 2 1/2 and with 3 1/2 more inches I dont see why 37s wont fit.If they do rub I can throw my leveling kit on top of the 6 but Im really trying to avoid doing that.If anyone has pics of 37x12.50s post em with the set up.

I believe you need offset wheels and at least a 8" lift. I have a 6" lift on a 04 FX4 and 37's wont fit.

The wheels I want are 17x9 with 5 offset.I figure a 12.50 shouldnt rub like a 13.50 would I am prepared to do a little trimming.I just dont see how I can clear 35s with just a leveling kit but everyone sais 35s are max for a 6 inch lift.

Your gonna need something with more like a negative offset, or around 4.5ish inches of backspacing depending I how the wheels are spec'd. An I see you rubbing whenever trying to turn to full lock or while the wheels are turned and going over bumps.

A member on F150forum has an 08 F150 with a 6" Fabtech with 37x13.5x20 Toyo's. It is all about backspacing. He has 20" XD Addicts with a +18mm offset. I would guess they are 9" wheels so that would put the backspace at about 5.7".
His name over there is MoDy150.

Also I have a 6" BDS with a spacer up front for 8", running 37x12.5x18 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A's KM. I could fit 38's though with the same width tire. I wouldnt have much room for tire travel but 38's would fit.

The issue is you running different wheels that push the tire out further. If you can get a lift that allows about 5-5.5" backspacing and stuck with a 1250 tire i bet you could make it work.
