Proper way to Level 97-03's??

Hey guys, what is the proper way to level the 97-03's? I want to run 33's on some aftermarket rims. I was also looking at doing an AAL to help with towing/hauling squat. Please help educate me guys. Thanks

All you have to do is crank up the torsion bar preload and get a front end alignment.

I need to do shocks soon, will there be enough travel in a replacement shock for this? Also, any recommendations on shocks? I've got 94000miles on the stockers and I do a good amount of off/on road and quite a bit of towing. If I don't do an AAL, should I go with an airbag setup or helper springs? I'm just trying to get away with little to no suspension sag when I am pulling my loaded car trailer and such.

Go with bilstein 5100s or hds same shock not sure what lengths they come in for 4x4's off the top of my head. And if you add an aal you won't be level anymore unless your towing or carrying weight so you might want to look into the airbag setup instead.

Don't get aftermarket torsion keys. Crank up your stock ones to get about 2" and don't go any higher without getting a full suspension lift kit

Yeah no joke, I ordered after market keys and it ended up putting cv shafts in a bad angle and broke my axle housing I found out today! So now i'm looking for a 4-6" lift for my crew today to put on with the new axle!

10-4 that was my intentions to just crank the stock ones, but wanted to ask on here first. Do I just run the bolts in until they max out and then bring them back like a half turn from max or to I just crank them down and let er' buck?

Crank them till max, then back down whatever side is higher until it's even, and then you can back them down more if it's higher than level.

You'll still want stock replacement shocks, no matter what brand/style you get. Cranking the torsion bars does not constitute a lift. Your suspension travel and geometry are compete let unaffected from this mod.

Right. Bumpstops limit travel up front. You will want OEM length for the front.
