Rancho Lift Finally on
I forgot to mention the Toyos are the E load rating. I put the 5" block in, and the rear still measures about a 1/2" lower than the front. Might have to do a custom block or an AAL. Maybe even airbags, but was trying to avoid them since I never use the truck to tow or haul anything really heavy.
Airbags are easy to install we have some on our F350s on the ranch...They mount ontop of the rear axle to the chassis...Firestone makes the best bags IMO...and I just ran airlines with valve stem looking fittings up through the fuel filler door..just put an airchuck on ur airhose that u use to fill ur tires and air them up check with a tire gauge...You can go all out with onboard compressors and gauges in the cab and stuff like that if you want but I just did it the cheap way...Took me about two hours and a six pack to install them...easy easy job and makes a WORLD of difference. As far as ride I couldn't really say because we do so much driving in the pastures and down dirt roads...Its a little stiffer on the highway but when the onetons are on the highway a trailer is usually hooked up...Never really paid attention when driving the one tons down the highway unloaded...
I like my airbags and it allows me to raise the rear when needed. I have the RideRite system with a custom lift bracket but recommend the AirLift system with bag spacers. You need the spacers since you're lifted. My system works great and I like it, but I think the AirLift system looks cleaner.
I bought my system used so saved a ton of money...I am sure you find a used AirLift system out there. If not, they're still less than a new leaf pack.

I would go with Stove's idea...I just went the cheap route because it was on a farm truck and don't really care how it looks...Just wanted something that worked....It doesn't look bad mind you but it just looks "simple" lol...
Yeah Rize wants 290.00 for a 6" spacer. To me thats kind of a rip off. I told them I paid 130.00 for the 5" Rough Country blocks with ubolts, and they said there's is a little more, because they make it out of alluminum because of its size. A little more try over twice as much. If it was like 150.00 I probably would have ordered it already.
