Leveling kit not level!!

I am wondering if anyone else has had any problems with there trucks still not looking level after installing a leveling kit? I put a 2" daystar leveling kit on mine the other day and my nose still sags down. I like the look of the cab being "level" and the nose sitting a little higher then the back. Im wondering if the shop that put it on for me screwed me and didnt really put a 2" kit on it or if its just normal. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Did you measure the truck to see how much higher the rear was prior to install? Did you do thorough research to see what kit looks/works best for your truck? Did they guarantee it would be level? I'm trying not to laugh at this thread...

Exactly what he said^. Also you say you want it level but then you say you want it nose high. So is the truck actually level and not your version of level? Or is the front still below what actual level is.

WOW didnt think i would get those "unexpected" comments! All im trying to do is look for some help! I did my research. I Looked at different threads, pictures and pm'd other members on here to get there ideas of what works and looks best. I went into a local shop that has done lifts for me in the past and got thier professional opinion. Like i said in my original post i wanted the CAB level which does put the nose a touch higher then the rear. I measured the front and rear before the kit was installed and the 2" kit that was installed only raised it about a 1 1/2" inches. So yes, the front is still about a 1/2" below what level is or i guess what my version of level should be. 1/2" Higher in the front would put the front to the exact measurement of the back. All im looking for is some help or some info. If this is normal then i just want to know what i need to do so i can get it to look the way i want. Thanks

I had the 2" daystar installed on my 2012 eco KR and I still have about 1/2" rake...which is fine with me. In my research, I think 2 1/2 is really necessary to get level on the newer model 4x4...or you may want to swap out kit for a 3" to get nose high.

What level kit did you use? Some have been reported as not giving the full amount of lift they state.

this right here. i mean it depends on what truck youre "leveling" but in my experience the 2 inch still gives a slight forward rake, 2.5 inch is completely level, and 3 inch gives slight rear rake. i guess im just confused what research you did because i found lots of good photos and couldnt be happier.

Just put some weight in the back to make it level and ride better :P, But being serious now, I have an 05 2wd and put on a 2'' Level Spacer and it was NOT level, so I Re-did suspension and went with Bilstien 5100 with 1'' setting and a 2'' spacer for 3'' and it sat too high in the front so I threw a 2.5'' block in the rear and ran with it! I like that better since I haul stuff and it becomes level with a Heavy load!

Let me rephrase then, 3" is too much for the front suspension components. It'll eat up ball joints and tie rod ends.

Just giving my advice. And there's a difference between bigger tires and trying to get too much lift out of something.
