Rancho shock installation
Rancho shock installation
Mornin' All,
I just bought the rancho quick lifts and RS9000's and have a few questions for those of you that already have them. I installed the rear shocks yesterday and installed the silicon boots, how far down the body of the shock are you guys placing them? Do I need to cut drain holes in the boot? Has anyone experienced any damage to the adjustment **** after having them installed for any length of time? I do look forward to getting the front shocks on, but need to get some help, I dont have all of the tools I need and also want to get my ball joints and tie rod ends checked first.

If you're gonna run the boots, there's no set distance. They just simply need to be far enough down so the zip tie is over a flat surface. The boot should already have holes in them. Never any damage to the ***** on mine, but my ***** are mounted up at the top. Pretty darn safe.
