Question 2001 L'S shocks

I am planning on buying a set of 2001L'S shocks(bilstein). Bilstein does not make Shocks for my 2" 4" lowered truck. I figure that since the 2001 L is lowered 1/2 in the front and 2" in the back, those shocks are a perfect match. i know the L is lighter than my Screw, but are they going to collapse or anything like that? any opinions will be greatly appreciated. by the way, ican get a set of those shocks for around $200.00 at my local dealer, not bad!

I think your best bet is to get on the phone with the Tech folks at Bilstein and get their blessing. Shouldn't be a problem, but they may have a better shock for your application. Their tech number is on their website.
