Daystar 1.5" or 2"
Daystar 1.5" or 2"
Ok I have a 2003 F150 Reg. Cab 4.2 5spd that I would like to raise the front of with a coil spacer. I have found a daystar 1.5" spacer for $50 and a 2" for around $120. Does the extra half inch made that big of a difference for $70? i am planning on buying 285/70/16 tires. Any input and/or pics would be greatly appreciated.
I guess only you can answer that. Is an additional half inch of lift worth $70 to you? For $120 you may be able to buy a set of lifted coilsprings. Any of those lifts will allow you to fit a 285/70-16 or 285/75-16 with the stock or a 16x8 inch aftermarket wheel.
I've looked into new coil springs and every set I seem to find says it's not for the V6 model. Also i was curious how much of a visual difference a half inch makes. Can I just measure from the front bumper to the ground and jack it up 1.5 inches and see how it looks or do I measure from the wheel well?

since you have a reg cab go with the 2". i put the 1.5" on a reg cab after i lifted that truck and it still had rake. they say no v6 since its lighter but will work fine for ya but you will need alignment cams
