Help! sudden play in steering wheel with fabtech 6' and steering stabalizers!

I have had my lift on my 2005 2wd f150 for about 7-8 months now. It has aaalways had really crisp turning and it never had ANY play in the steering wheel, but recently it has.

What do I need to do? Should I get my steering stabalizers checked out or what...?

The lift, the angles involved, the heavier tires rotating all add up. Tires are like big heavy flywheels. Flywheels that are turning don't like to change direction.

Check tie rod ends and rack mounting as well as ball joints and every bolt and nut in the "add on" lift kit.

It may be that parts are just worn out?

There was another guy here who had a 6" lift with steering stabilizers that fastened to brackets that clamped onto the tie rod ends, the stabilizers were parallel to the tie rods. Snapped one off clean where the end threaded on, the offset bracketry imposes a side force on the tie rod and the threads are where they'll snap.
