3" level to Rancho quick lift

Hey guys,

So eventually I'm going to get rid of the 3" level but I'm trying to decide what I should replace it with (tired of replacing CVs). I thought about the bilsteins but then realized why not go with the quick lifts because I already have rs9000xls in the front and back (I know I'll have to replace the front ones with the quick lift). Is the ride going to be better with the quick lifts compared to a 3" level? I also think I'm going to put rear blocks in just to get some of the rake back, not too much. Has anybody had any experience with these? Thanks!

I just went from an AS 2 inch level to a quicklift. The ride is unquestionably better than it was with the level and stock shocks. It probably won't be a ton better than your level and the 9000's but you never know. From what I understand the suspension geometry is significantly improved with the quicklift vs spacer level.

Now, the problem is that the quicklift doesn't even raise the front of the truck as much as the AS 2 inch spacer did, which results in rubbing where I previously never rubbed. I'm actually considering putting a small spacer on top of my quicklift to achieve a lift similar to a 2.5 inch spacer level. My concern, however, is that a spacer on top of the quicklift will raise the front too much and then I'll run into the issues you've just described with the 3 inch spacer!

Daystar claims to have a 1 inch level but it apparently raises the truck more than 1 inch. How much more? I couldn't tell you but I'd love to know exactly. I think a .75 inch spacer on top of the quicklift would be perfect but as far as I know such a thing does not exist.

If anybody knows of an actual 1 inch or smaller spacer, I'd love to hear about it. Hope this helps a bit OP

EDIT: Just realized you've got an 05 so take my comments with a grain of salt....I don't have first hand experience with your model year

Thanks for your help man, I just looked up the quick lifts for the new models vs the quick lifts for my model and it says the 04-08s get 2.5" of lift vs 2" of lift, maybe that would save me from rubbing.
