Post a photo of your truck.

When the procomp lstage 1 lift is installed using what comes in the kit, the rear will sit a little lower than the front. If you had a shop do the install then they probably installed the AAL to lift the rear a little. Once I see your truck from the side then I can tell you what you have.

Here are some photos to help show you what I had with what. Evenyou with a 5.5" block and a 2" AAL the rear was still a little lower. You will only have an additional 2" up front where I had 2.5" so you will be closer to level.

Procomp Stage 1

Procomp Stage 1 W/ 2.5" AS and 2" AAL on 35's.

Procomp Stage 1 w/ 2.5" AS and 2" AAL on 37's.

Procomp Stage 1 w/ 2.5" AS, 5.5" Tuff Country Block and 2" AAL ON 37's

If you have the two block plus an AAL in the rear and it's still lower than the front then I have a feeling your front is already lifted with the bilsteins. Also get a pic of your front cv axles.

I hope you dont think Im being an a$$. I'm just trying to get a visual so I can tell you what you should do.

Yeah I did put the front up one notch to see what kind of difference it would make. The rear was higher than the front.

I looked at one of the photos in your album. Its hard to get an exact look b/c of how your wheel it turned. I would say you're close to 7" up front. Your rear is around .5"-3/4" lower. If you push the front up to 8" you'll need another 1.5" in the rear to be level. I want to say I recall Procomp making a 6" block, but not certain.

I have the stock 2 and the pro comp 3, so yes only 5 in the rear. I looked today and found a pro comp 6. Ill be ordering soon unless I hear from a friend I talked to tonight. He said he put a block under a 1500 last week that had a peice of metal attached to it so that it clipped in with the springs and then small u bolts to hold in straight. I ll look for those first cause that sounds alot safer.

Ok, so maybe I'm crazy, but yesterday I found links to 6" blocks for my truck. Now I'm trying but them and can't find a single one, only 5.5. Does anyone know of a company that sales them or a part #?

Found one. I guess I didn't look hard enough.

Also called 4 wheel parts to ask there opinion on doing this. Supposedly they did this same thing to someone's truck awhile back. By doing a 6 in rear and adjustsble struts or a 2.5 spacer, and supposedly the guy broke half shaft day after day. But, high on 22s, you said you never had a problem right? They also said I would have to have special longer shafts made to be long enough and special U bolts made cause they don't make them that big!

So how is it everyone else can go this? I think they just didn't want to help me or talk to me.

i tried to add the 2.5 inch spacer the the front of my truck a few weeks back, 2004 xlt 4x4 with 6 inch fabtech, when i went to install that strut assembly the angle was to severe and i couldnt get the CV's to go all the way into the hubs, which resulted in me cracking the plastic piece on my hubs and tearing the rubbing seal.. stupid mistake on my part, but has anyone done this? im using the stock strut assem. with the fabtech extension brackets

I think high on 22s did. But I'm using adjustable struts so it should work better as compared to putting another spacer in there.

I did have the 2.5" AS spacer stacked on top of my Procomp spacer. I didn't have any issues, but I also did not use this as a dailey driver. I had them on for 2 years and only put 10k miles on the truck. I have photos in one of my albums showing my angles. I wouldn't recommend you going 2.5". I only did it bc I got the spacers for cheap. I would save the money for the Bilstien 5100's and adjust them to gain an aditional 2". The front end will ride better and cv angles will be alot better.

If I had not sold the truck I was going with sway-a-way front coil overs since they came in the anodized red which went well with my truck.

I know this sounds red neck but since its being so much trouble finding a 6" block, how about I just weld 2 together?
