it would have been easier on you if you had just put OEM springs on it

Wrecking yards around here think their parts are gold plated let alone find one that has a lightning or be willing to part out. They like to sit on them and hope like hell someone will pay 8 grand for a totaled truck...lol Even finding O.E. Expedition seat and console...example, 2002 Expedition power driver seat dirty as hell 450 bucks.
I'm sure once I get the right bushings It should be fine, just frustrating as hell.

I haven't been that lucky. I live to far north. Wrecking yards don't have alot of stock compared to your area. I just found a cherry console for my truck for far less than the wrecking yards here and in much better condition.

I feel your pain on the junkyards. I've been trying to do a 99+ front end swap and they want $450 for just the bumper! No way am I paying that.

Yea never really thought about it since we've got a ton of trucks/suv's down here that means more in the junk yards....

Thanks everyone. I just got the notification from UPS that Air bag it sent new bushings. If I'm lucky this weekend will be a go. Maybe in the future one of you guys down south can help me find a passenger bucket seat to match the drivers side and That will be one more Mod off the list...lol There is to much work to convert the 60 part of the front seat to a 40..lol
so for an interlude here is a pic of the new console I have coming.

Todays update!! New bushings came in and they finally fit!
Here is a Pic to show the difference between the two sets of springs.

I had a feeling that this was more than the 3 inch drop and of coures it is. The measurement in the rear is now 15.5 and the front is 16.25 now that the load shifted to the rear a bit. I was going to use the adjustable shackles but with these springs eye loop metal being thicker than the stock one I can't use the adjustment. So that being said I will have to move the hanger as I thought I would. I had to remove the helper air bags. My drivers side front leaf spring bolt came out without cutting the old one. That project will have to wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow I want to move the hangers and do some re-routing of a few things and I will need to dump the Exhaust before the axle. I also want to clean up and paint the rear calipers. Right now as it sits is about a 4.5/7 drop. Here is a Pic the way it sits now.

Thanks bro! Tomorrow I will take more pics and show some more pics of the stuff I have to do. The flex brake line, E-brake cable, Exhaust is a major problem and calipers need a fresh coat of paint. Next weekent will be the C-notches weather permitting. Gotta grow some junk before cutting the frame up...lol Today was a long *** day. Up at 4:30 and went to work. Got home and ripped this biautch apart and back on wheels by 6:30... I must be freaking crazy...lol

Before this all started I had a 2/4 drop

Before the rear drop

After 2.5 additional drop to give me a 4.5/6.5 drop
