If you take the wheel to fender gap being equal your truck wont be level. The body line is an equal distance from the bottom of the truck all the way across. If that body line is level you truck is level. Your tires and wheels should be the same size and distance from the ground. If you use that as a reference and compare that to the body line that will tell you if your level. I added some lines to show the difference.

Nitroxs pic is pretty straight on sow its easy to show. the 2 white lines are level and referenced from the top of the wheel and tire. The red line is an exension of the body line. The fender gaps are pretty close to the same distance. The front fender on our trucks is taller than the rear.

Smokeys truck green lines show the wheel and tire height. Red is the body line and the white is the fender gap. I did KRs too but the pic isnt straight so it isnt as clear. But you can see the difference between the 2 setups. Smokeys is a more of a Bulldog or "Cali-style" Nitrox has a small amount of rake. The only thing consistent is that everyones truck is a little different and the effects of the same kit may be different on 2 different trucks.

You must be unfamiliar with basements... My driveway slopes at the end(where my truck is parked) to account for the basement... So the truck is actually pointing down hill... Disregard the house in the background....

Traded the truck at 75000+- miles. kit was on for most of it. No i never had a single problem with it. Well, i did have to replace one of the boots that covers the front 4wd....but that was it warranty work. I dont think that was from my leveling kit i think i may have ran over something..i didnt offroad, but it was a hunting/fishing/construction site truck.

Also as stated above my truck is bulldogging a little bit. I dont have any pics after i installed the Long Add a leaf. then i had about an inch of rake, which is what i wanted for hauling and towing, not to mention getting rid of the spongy rear end that i feel these truck have.

Silly angles, do me a favor. Park it in your garage, provided it doesnt have 4inches of fall for drainage. And measure from the ground to the body line in front the rear tire. Then measure from the ground to the same body line behind the front tire. Then measure from the ground at the center of each tire to the bottom of the fender, front and rear. Let me know what you get.

nice wheels.

nope not mine, wouldnt even consider trying that. You could probably run 44s on yours though if you wanted.

Again to the OP, use a tape measure, basic math and common sense. Measure how much lift you want and order that height to achieve the look you want. There are several different interpretations of what level is, and every truck is different. You really cant say because this guy used this in front and this in back my truck will look the same. 2004s have more factory rake than 2008s. When KR4 says he put 3 inch blocks in the rear im assuming he removed the stock blocks. My point with the pics, is perspective can be deceiving and take measurements on your setup. Just trying to help you make an informed decision, as GI Joe said "knowing is half the battle"

don't know how too get a picture in here but my truck has a 3-1/2 level with a 3 block in rear. picture in my profile. I clear 35x12.5 with no rubbing on stock wheels.
