So I've been tossing around the idea of turning my 2010 F150 2wd into a prerunner style truck and was wondering if anyone out there knew of a decent suspension set up to run. I really like the look of the fiberwerx trophy truck one piece front end and bed sides. I would love to run one of the Brenthel/baja kits long arm suspension, but not really looking to spend $7k+ on suspension
x2. Pizza man is right. If you want a pre runner style truck its going to cost you more money that you will most likely want to spend. Don't get a sick fiberwerx set up and have a lame suspension set up that makes your truck look bad. In southern california it is the craze and it seems every high schooler with a truck has an ugly set up.
However, if you do dish out the dough, you will be very pleased.

i was looking into the same thing. i want the camburg long travel and fiberwerx fenders so i can go hit the dunes out near yuma. im looking into a procomp 4 inch lift for now, from 4 wheel parts, they have good holiday deals and it comes with shocks. i'll let you know how it feels once installed.
That procomp lift isn't going to do anything in the dunes, and it's not made for them so there's the chance your gonna break something if you try to run hi speed out there.

yea goin long travel is expensive but built right youll be able to fly across the desert and do jumps. yes it is expensive...but this aint your regular lift kit..the welds arnt machine done, theyre done by hand. camburg is IMO the best out there. denofl, you posted up about the burg 6.5, thats 2k easy, look at the dixon bros long travel setup, its 2500 w/o shocks so call that 4k, 5k+ for camburgs. I am personally lookin into BMF fab to custom make me a mid-travel kit with boxed uppers, lowers, lift spindle with uniballs top and bottom, bilstein 5100s, lift coils and beard limiting straps, good for like 10" of safe travel, thats easily 2500, then for the rear, Ill run deavers with longer shocks thats another 600 +180 for shocks...but the abuse I put on my suspension Im supprised it hasnt failed....yet.
pizzaman711, in his defense, he did say "built right". lol. i didnt consider that, but...the 6.5 kit comes with bilstein 5100 according to this post http://www.dezertrangers.com/vb/truc...tm#post2290950
