Leaf Springs Question
Hey Guys,Can Anyone point me in the direction of how to on how to remove leaf springs on 2006 F150 Screw,I'm planning on installing Eibach's 2/4 pro truck kit with the shocks and need some help on the proper way to remove things, don't want to seriously mess something up.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

jack the truck up until the axle hangs loose, then support the truck on stands, then unbolt stuff.
on your specific truck the drivers hanger bolt (front leaf bolt) will be a PITA you either have to temporarily remove the gas tank or cut the bolt in half.
If you wanted to make a trip east i could give you a hand with it, but you arent exactly right up the street from me
And BTW most of us lowered guys hang out down in "street scene" section

Aw man that does sound like a major PITA,not very fond of removing the gas tank or cutting bolts, but lets say i do decide to cut the bolts...should the drop kit come with replacement bolts or do i have to go hunting for some in junkyard?
And thanks for the offer Pat,I live near Houston, not sure where your located.

Jus t did mine last month, bolt from Tasca $6.05 + $10.00 UPS.The secret to cutting bolt ,use sazall w/ new quality blade. Use cutting oil on the blade & medium speed on saw.Caution around gas tank.

Thanks oleman48 for the info, should be a bit easier with this,I was thinking of cutting it with a grinder but that will cause a lot sparks which is bad,I'll just go out and buy me a sawzall and blade while buying the rest of tools needed
4" leafs ride like crap. Why not do a 5" flip kit and do a 3" drop in the front?

For steel cutting, I favor bimetal blades, 14 or 16 tpi.
