Need some add-a-leaf advice

I have a 2006 4x4 SLT with a 6" Fabtech lift. Dirt Logic coil overs and 5" blocks in the back. My back end needs to come up 1.25"-1.5" to sit level. I do heavy towing from time to time so I'm thinking an add-a-leaf is my best and cheapest option. I know custom leafs are best but they're so expensive. My question is: who knows of an add-a-leaf that will give me between 1" and 1.5" of lift. I HATE rake, so I don't want any more than 1.5" of lift at the most. I had AALs on my last truck that were advertised as 2" and they gave me 3". I don't want that to happen again. Does anybody have some measurements from AALs that can say exactly how much lift they will give me? Thanks

Zone offroad AALs from Rock-n-Road Jeep Outfitters are a good deal or maybe you could lessen your block height for the 3" AALs you bought.

You can check out the leafs from AutoSpring:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-1-2...item1e66e5b4c8

Because you have a 5" block, you can always go with smaller block or custom block to give you exactly the right level or rake you want. AutoSpring can custom cut a block for you if needed.

I was in touch with Rock-n-Road Jeep Outfitters about these and they answered a question about fitting them on 2wd trucks and they've only sold them for 4x4s but they contacted the manufacturer for info so maybe they could answer the question of how much these AALs will lift your specific vehicle.

Any idea how much that lifts it? not even their website says. Also that is for a 97-03 04-08 is $115 (yes I am sad, I am in the market for a 1" AAL for my dropped truck, and a 3" drop shackle)

Let me know what they say. Is there a 1" AAL on the market or is 1.5" the smallest?

I do too. 1.25" is exactly what I want. 1" would be fine

I got exactly 1 3/8" out of my Procomp Add-a-Leaf. I measured twice, that is after it settled...The ride is much better as well....It even came with friction pads...Nice for the money....

You could do rear lift shackles, they are easy to install.

That might work for me. I have a heavy tool box and other stuff in my bed all the time. What was the part number for the AALs you got?
