3" Body lift

Are they pretty easy to install? Do you have to do any modifications to anything or can you just install and go?

They are fairly easy to install. It took me and a buddy about 8 hours. The directions are very easy to follow. Make sure that you get the kit with the bumper relocating brackets. It took us the longest to line up the cab and bed. Wanted it to be perfect. It is a great mod if you plan on fitting 35s which I am. It looks sweet and I recommend getting the lift lips for those unsightly gaps left in the wheel wells.

Good luck!

I dont know if that took the longest. We chose to spend time lining up the bumpers on your truck and the bed-cab really well. Heck, you spent an hour getting the sand out of truck CJ!

I think that the in-cab forward puck was the biggest PIA along with the filler neck that was not needed to do. I am sure doing the fan mods at the same time would be a pain also.

Anyways, it is not hard. Was the truck really really really really super well under it 2 days before the lift. Get all the mud out that you can otherwise it ends up in your eyes. Then the night before, lube all the mounting bolts with PB blaster and the bumper bolts. 2 that 2 times. Also if you start the night before removing the rear seat and side trim along with the bumpers, that saves about 2 hours in the morning when you want to get started.

I would suggest to have 2 people do the lift. Also plan on getting lift lips and nerf bars. With those 2 extras, you will not be able to tell that it is body lifted unless you know what to look for.
