Apparently he found one because he bumped a year old thread about it, but yea I wouldn't run that. Stick to 2.5" or below, besides that would end up sitting you nose high.

As for the other guy I'm not to familiar with the pre 97' suspension, but like 06yz250f said if they feel spongy it's probably time to replace them.

I wouldn't be excited about that, unless you like replacing front end components.

 

I'm planning to level my '04 screw FX4. Considering the spacer above the coil. I'll be hauling kinda heavy loads though. (daughter's horse, and probably her friends)

anyone have a brand they recommend for upper control arms?

also can anyone explain to me how to decide which shock i need and is it possible to get 1" or more of lift from a set of shocks?

next month im having my suspension done and it will be about 10" front 9" rear so i need new upper control arms im sure and shocks that would hopefully finish out leveling my front and rear figure 1" from shocks in front and 0" in rear would give me 11" front 9" rear should be level.

 

1) Doestch/Springtech upper control arms can be found online for our MY. Canuck Motorsports usually has the cheapest prices. Also, fabtech used to make them but most times nowadays you can't find them and if you do they will be expensive

2) Depending on what lift you go with, your shocks will depend on that. I have the Fabtech and have been trying to find replacement shocks. Fabtech said they do not know of any other shocks that are the right dimensions but I'm sure with a little research and looking into custom valving and lengths you could find some

3) On our MY you can not have a shock raise your ride height

4) 11/9 will most likely be close to level but I am unaware of suspension mods that will allow you to get to 11"

ya I went to 4wp to see what they would say...and the guy told me bilstein had a shock just for my lift....not sure about that but they had what i needed.

 

was thinking about buying these Moog control arms, but saw something saying with 7" front lift that i need longer upper control arms, i dont see anywhere on them saying they are longer then stock, thanks for help and any link

If you want to go that high you really need to consider getting a full suspension lift with a subframe.

01f150's kit is a good deal, he might be willing to split up some of the extra un needed stuff if you need to get the price lower.
