Lightning Front Sway Bar P/N
Anyone got any idea what the part number is for the Lightning front sway bar? The Ford parts guy I deal with is pretty sharp and he says it is the same as the standard sway bar. He tells me the Ford factory guys tell him the same thing. But, I've measured a Lightning bar and my 2000 bar and the Lightning bar is 3.5mm larger!! So it can't be the same bar.
Funny thing is, the Ford factory parts list shows a specific front sway bar bushing for the Lightning but no specific bar part number.
I have already installed the Roush Sport Suspension that included new springs and Bilstein shocks, Lightning SVT wheels and tires, Lightning rear sway bar, and reversed the RH rear shock using the Lightning brackets. Boy, does the rear really stay planted now. I'm just concerned that the handling may not be balanced if I don't use the Lightning front sway bar and end up with 'loose' handling. This can really be scary on wet roads.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey neighbor.....
I'm not sure that much size difference would make that much difference unless the L bar is made differently, like the Helwig is.
If you want to improve the fron anti-sway bar, why not go aftermarket like a Helwig, or Hotchkis? I think they're less than $150 for the front. Check www.truckperformance.com or www.summitracing.com. You may have to call Summit, but they've got great prices and tons of stuff.
Off the subject, have you noticed a few more L's around here lately? I've seen a white one and a red one just in the past week or so.
