Rattling sound coming from front drivers side after lift installed

I've had my lift (6" Rough Country) installed for about 5 days now. Ever since it was installed there has been a rattling sound, like metal hitting together. It happens when I hit a bump. Mainly coming from front drivers side but I'm not sure that its isolated to there. I was wondering if this was normal until the suspension gets broken in or if I should take it back to the shop? Thanks

It shouldn't be rattling. Did you install it yourself or have it done?

Was wondering if maybe there might be some bolts that they didnt tighten down all the way and thats what's making the noise?

It could easily be something like that. There are a whole bunch of bolts involved in a 6" lift. I would just go back by there and let them drive it and hear it

So I dont think its any loose bolts I checked and retightened all of the bolts and that didn't fix the problem. I listened to the sound again closely and was wondering if many it isn't metal hitting together but maybe only happens when the lift/springs compress together. Could it be possible that the suspension is just tight because its so new and maybe the sounds just due to that? Do new lifts make any sound for a few days until they get broken in?

I was afraid you'd say that. I took one of my other trucks there and several things went wrong. It ended up leaving there with coil springs that should have been on a Ram 1500 (truck was a '06 Ram 2500), a broken swaybar link, crappy alignment, and a dent in the fender. After arguing with them forever I eventually got everything fixed on my own dime at a shop in Auburn. I heard things had changed and decided to possibly give them another shot but when they told me $2000 plus for 4.56 gears front/rear I gave up. Maybe you'll have better luck than me though.

I have the exact same coming from my lift. Noise only when hitting certain bumps. I think it is the bolt for the bottom of the shock into the lower a arm. It requires a very high torque so even though it may be tight to the turn of the wrench it can still make a noise. I just don't have a big enough socket so I have to bring it back to the shop.
