leaf spring question

I have an 2000 xlt f150 4x4 with fabtech 6.5" lift the only thing is that the kit was with 4" lift block in rear and the spring aren't the best looking I measured from center eye to eye on the leaf spring (still installed) it was 58 1/2 and I have brand new 08 I believe tundra rear leafs butcenter eye to eye is 61 1/2 it seems as if the rear shackle pivots. I was looking to get somones opinion if think it would work, or maybe a lift shackle and get smaller blox

Are you measuring one under pressure and the other in free state? If so, those measurements are not comparable. You should be able to search the net to see if they are the same length, but I don't think they are. A lift shackle may get you 1.5" or so.

Chances are they won't work, what are you trying to do? If your saying your leafs are worn out then a lift shackle isn't going to help them, you'd be better off just replacing the leafs with either a set of oem's or getting a set of deavers, nationals, or atlas lift leafs made for your truck.

Otherwise if you just want a shorter block, go with a lift shackle.

are the widths even the same?

what about the spring pin is it centered the same?

there is a lot you need to figure out before determining. i'd just go with a custom set and be done with it
