RIZE if you got deep pockets!
I was impressed with how easy mine was to put on too. After cutting out the lower control arm pocket and the emergency brake mount, it was all pretty easy bolt-on stuff. It was just time consuming.

And yes, if you don't mind spending some serious money get a Rize lift

Procomp or Fabtech, you can't really go wrong with either...I like my procomp. I was going to go Fabtech but the stage 2 procomp with coilovers was a little cheaper than the dirtlogic coilovers with the fabtech. Did not think it was worth the extra money...You get a little more front ground clearance with the fabtech but the rear axle is still low so who cares about getting the extra 1" or so on the front clearance. They both sit the same...

Hey Mossy,

Truck looks good! Sorry I didn't get back to you on the PM with ?'s regarding your lift install! A few things came up at home and I just wasn't around.

Curiou, are the fabtech coils now black or am I just seeing it that way?

Cheers

Mine are black. When you look up the lift on Fabtech's website it shows you a picture of blue parts and says "available in black only" under the picture of blue parts. I guess everything is black now and they haven't updated their picture

Interesting. My dirt logics are still blue, but the rest of the lift is black. One day when I do the upper control arms I'll take out the lift and paint the rest of the lift parts blue as well!

Looks good regardless of color though! BTW, a 1.5" procomp add-a-leaf is a perfect fix for getting your truck back to stock like rake!!

Cheers

i'd choose a brand and not worry about what shocks and coil overs come with it. just find any kit that you like and think will work. you can put fabtech or pro comp coilovers on any 6" lift. or you might not want coil overs at all, can't blame you their expensive and for most not worth it.

my favorite brand for the f150's is BDS, loved mine and trashed on it pretty good with no issues. i've had friends with about every other lift with no issues as well so i don't think you can go wrong on any brands.

You're probably right. Most any lift will be fine, especially for street driving. I'm just partial to Fabtech because of the extra effort they put into making installation as easy as possible and their amazing customer service

i won't argue with you on ease as i have no experience installing a fabtech, but how do you know pro comp, bds, rough country, skyjacker, etc aren't just as simple?

everyone here is partial to a brand, which of course if you have good success with that brand why would you change the next go around? what i think it does show is all of the lift brands seem to be quality and not a cheesy pos.

Good point. We put a 3.5" Rough Country lift on a friend's silverado and it seemed fine. Most lifts probably are fine unless you're going to give them a serious beating off-road

I installed a procomp on my 2011 FX4, and my friend installed a fabtech, both are great lift kits, the only difference between the two that I was able to notice was the procomp (front and back tires stick out exactly the same) My friends truck with a fabtech has his front wheels sticking out a little more than his rears.

Same thing with my 6" Fabtech lift. Probably 1/2" more in the front than back
