Good quality 6" suspension lift
And yes, if you don't mind spending some serious money get a Rize lift
I'm looking for a good quality 6" suspension lift for my 2011 f150 supercrew lariat. I have heard of rough country, fabtech, and procomp but i want to get a good idea which one would be better. I plan on running 35x12.50 nitto mud grapplers with 18" wheels with -12 offset. not planning on going muddin or hard terrain, just road driving, but just want a good looking truck! thanks for any advice!
Hey Mossy,
Truck looks good! Sorry I didn't get back to you on the PM with ?'s regarding your lift install! A few things came up at home and I just wasn't around.
Curiou, are the fabtech coils now black or am I just seeing it that way?
Cheers

Mine are black. When you look up the lift on Fabtech's website it shows you a picture of blue parts and says "available in black only" under the picture of blue parts. I guess everything is black now and they haven't updated their picture
Looks good regardless of color though! BTW, a 1.5" procomp add-a-leaf is a perfect fix for getting your truck back to stock like rake!!
Cheers

i'd choose a brand and not worry about what shocks and coil overs come with it. just find any kit that you like and think will work. you can put fabtech or pro comp coilovers on any 6" lift. or you might not want coil overs at all, can't blame you their expensive and for most not worth it.
my favorite brand for the f150's is BDS, loved mine and trashed on it pretty good with no issues. i've had friends with about every other lift with no issues as well so i don't think you can go wrong on any brands.

everyone here is partial to a brand, which of course if you have good success with that brand why would you change the next go around? what i think it does show is all of the lift brands seem to be quality and not a cheesy pos.
i won't argue with you on ease as i have no experience installing a fabtech, but how do you know pro comp, bds, rough country, skyjacker, etc aren't just as simple?

Same thing with my 6" Fabtech lift. Probably 1/2" more in the front than back
