Procomp 5.5" Blocks on 06 4x4

I have asked this before but here goes again. Any issues with the pinion angle using the procomp 5.5" Blocks, axle wrap etc??? Are they tapered??? I have a 06 4x4....

Yea Ive been running them for over a year now and not one problem. I would suggest them instead of stacking blocks.

Lift blocks for f-150s can't be tapered because there are 2 center pin bolts going through the leaf spring pack instead of the usual 1 on other vehicles. If the block was tapered, the heads of the center pin bolts wouldn't line up correctly with the corresponding holes in the top of the blocks.

And I agree, don't stack blocks if you can avoid it. It's just another variable that can cause problems. And it could be a pretty serious problem if the blocks separated while you were driving

Actually they are tapered slightly. the dual pins do not matter as it is still a flat surface where it meets the axle and leaf assembly. I was mainly worried about axle wrap...I am just not used to running such a large block. I really don't want to spend the money for the custom leafs. I ordered the blocks yesterday. I also agree with not stacking them. I already ditched the little block that came with the procomp kit as well as the stock little 2" block.

I spoke with the rep from Pro-comp directly, not 4wheelparts and he said that the block is tapered about 1/8" overall. Not much at all but that is what I am being told. I will measure and post when they get here but that is what the rep said....

The fabtech blocks are not tapered, you are correct, I installed helped install that kit on my neighbors truck, they measure the same front and back. I am not trying to get into a pissing contest believe me, just relaying what I am being told about the procomp blocks. I will post my findings when they arrive...

I believe you. I've never thoroughly researched the procomp lift

Yeah they are. I wish I had those blocks. I need another half inch or inch in the back to be level. I'm bulldogging slightly now with a 5 inch block.

I thought they wouldn't be that great on the road, but they are fine. They have pretty loud tire roar, but I like it. They don't pull or shake or anything. I'm pretty impressed by their road manners.
