2 1/2" Daystar Leveling Kit on 2004 F-150 4x4

Just installed my Leveling Kit yesterday. Only took me about 2 1/2 hours to do both sides! Here is the finished product...

Just about to start dis-assembly....

disconnecting sway bar from frame much easier than from end links! this is needed to allow suspension to drop down to remove shock/spring.

everything came off pretty easily!

the shock/spring with spacer and bolt extensions installed about to go back in! Also the video and instructions I read said you wouldnt need to remove the shock/spring from lower A-Arm, but I couldn't get it low enough to put the spacer and extensions on it. So, I just removed the big *** bolt from the bottom of it and pulled out.

BEFORE

AFTER

CAN ANYONE SAY "TIME FOR BIGGER TIRES?!"

I'm getting ready to put on my Daystar 1" boost. Not much I know but I need to keep a bit of rake as I do tow up to 4000# on a not-so-regular basis.

I definitely would only go with the 1" then! I pulled a dual axle bumper/receiver hitched trailer with over 5,000lbs the other day. It brought the rearend down to the same height as the NON-LEVELED frontend. It's gonna look pretty retarded if I ever have to do that again! Luckily this truck is going to become my toy and I have plans for a new V6 EcoBoost SuperCrew.

Thanks! Can't wait to stuff some 35's under it! Only have 8k on these tires on the Nittos now, so it's going to be awhile...

I'm also going to move the Super Truck Exhuast forward by trimming some pipe off, or custom rig some of my own, because the exhuast tips are definitely going to hit the tires. I already bent them going down the interstate when a motorcoach rv hit a piece of semi-tire tread, threw it at my truck... it dropped out of the air just in time to go under my truck and wack my exhuast tips into the tire... now I have a one bent exhuast tip, and one good one... I would've been mad but it didnt hurt anything else and I kinda had some ideas I was playing around with for a X-pipe and true duals...

I ran 35's on my '04 that I had with a 2 1/2" Daystar kit, just make sure the wheels are the correct width and BS.
