Question Do Hellbent leveling kits rub?

I've noticed the offset of the Autospring touted over and over again to insure against spring/uca rubbing but I have never seen anyone say that their HBS spacer caused rubbing.

Anyone?

HBS claims that they have no problems with their kits but I would like to hear from actual users.

Thanks.

I am on the 3'' hbs and its awesome no problems at all. The only thing with a spacer is when you mount up alot bigger and heavier tires the top a arm rest on the spring but it will just rub the rubber off but i put like a rag or something in between the two.

I have an AS kit but have also not heard anything bad about HBS kits.

Wow, people are still buying the 3" kits even though they cause major front end issues?

Sorry but I wasn't getting any answers over there and at least I used the search function first.

I've got a 2.5 inch sitting in the garage for a nicer weekend to install. Looks relatively easy, did it take any of you that did it yourself very long?

From what I have read on here, it seems to average about 2 hours to install for the home installer. I was quoted $125 yesterday for an install so I would say that is about right.

Cany anyone confirm that the strut bolt pattern is the same from 04-08 to 09-11? The CS rep for HBS is claiming that they are, even though everyone lists different kits for the two different models.

Took me just under 90 min from getting tools out to lowering the jack. Theres a real good write up on here for the install. There is one nut thats pretty big, i think 30mm or something like that? The write up covers it pretty well, i just picked up that and had everything else. And that was with hand tools too, no air for me :-(

I had the 3" HB on my Super Crew and it ruined my lower ball joints. Stick with the 2.5" or less.
